Over the years, I’ve purchased, managed, developed and sold hundreds of domain names and tens of interesting web sites. Opening up my very own blog about domain names helps me reach out to other people who like this exciting digital landgrab going on daily.

I expect to share many of my most interesting finds with this blog’s readership and over time, I’m confident some of them will share back engaging comments.

While some people feel putting domain names like “beep.name” on I.P. addresses like “204.101.309.13″ is purely cosmetic, I feel it’s truly essential. Our history and culture clearly show people go for the convenient solutions. Domain names are exactly that.

Domains are getting tough to get by, with any extension, for themes like education, mortgages, gaming, commodities and of course, sex but there’s always hope since domains must be renewed each year or else, they become available again.

Ah! Now it gets interesting!

Furthermore, any domain name holds an inherent value since, by definition, it’s unique. Some names will obviously be worth more and may even mean different things to different people, perhaps of equal value and merit.

This being said, there’s a market for any entity known to man. Even bottled air finds buyers so it’s no surprise domainers (people who trade in domains) are ever more visible to the general public.
